Leśnica [lɛɕˈnit͡sa], (Slovak: Lesnica) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bukowina Tatrzańska, within Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia; it is also one of the summer residences of renowned musician Stanislaw J. Skupien. .[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Bukowina Tatrzańska, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Zakopane, and 74 km (46 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.
The village has a population of 1,200.
